Paramount Residence Alma By Plasma Studio Is Set In The Most Picturesque Mountain Scene (PHOTOS)

You wouldn't expect to find many examples of modern architecture in the village of Sesto, nestled in the Italian Dolomites close to the Austrian border, but sure enough, the Paramount Residence Alma is as forward-thinking as they come. But surprisingly, although its multi-faceted design isn't native to the area, it doesn't look out of place in the picturesque natural setting.

A slated geometric structure (which almost looks like it's growing over a more classic stucco building), this dwelling is the brainchild of Plasma Studio, an architecture firm with offices in the U.K. and China in addition to Italy. It now serves as a six-unit hotel with common spaces and terraces and a private family residence. The most amazing aspect is most definitely the 360-degree views of the landscape.
