Germany-based photographer Sebastian Erras, however, noticed. He observed how certain tiles, when arranged geometrically, form a flattened field of identical, sharp-edged flowers. Or a hypnotic grid of selfsame angular shapes, yielding a labyrinth that stumps you before you start.
