Party Done.

Trinidad carnival is over, and as I am trying to focus on the positive and love this year, I won't saturate your brains with talk about the elitism of some carnival bands, the exclusivity and lack of inclusivity of others, I won't stress about the ridiculous prices of costumes and parties alike. Instead I will concentrate on the progress I am seeing in our Carnival. The beautiful diversity I am seeing more of in the carnival bands, not just ethnically but class wise, which only enhances the sweet vibes jumping up on the road.

Today I choose to celebrate the beautiful color I see in the pictures, because not too long ago there was less color and only certain demographic groups represented. So as stated above, no small talk today, enjoy the pics and behold the splendor that is TRINIDAD CARNIVAL.

Next year I will be there to bring you the action Live on Huffington Post. (Speaking it into reality).
