Jennifer Lopez details her many love affairs and heartbreaks in her recently-released memoir True Love, and Bravo's "Millionaire Matchmaker" Patti Stanger has some very specific thoughts on how the "I Luh Ya Papi" megastar could find the right relationship.
"There's some stuff that she's doing that I would love to fix," Stanger told HuffPost Live's Alyona Minkovski in a Wednesday interview. "The first thing is: Don't lead with the cooch."
According to Stanger, if Lopez removes sex from the equation, a prospective suitor can pursue her "mentally" and focus on her "hobbies, wishes and passions."
"And actually, I would like her to date up and not down," the reality star added. "There's a lid for every pot. Maybe it's Silicon Valley for her. Could be a billionaire who made a few bucks -- good-looking guy in his 40s who hasn't found the right one."
The pop star most recently dated backup dancer Casper Smart. Prior to that, she endured a highly-publicized divorce from Latin singer Marc Anthony, whom Stanger dubbed "a control freak."
"She's a Leo. She cannot be dominated like that," the brassy third-generation matchmaker said. "I would love to talk to her about astrology and get more detail-oriented about her life path. She's a drop-dead gorgeous woman. She's super successful. She made her money, she has her kids. Let's make love a priority right now."
Despite Stanger's advice, Lopez may not be ready for a relationship just yet. She told HuffPost Live in November that for now, she's focused on being single and loving herself.
"I don't need anybody else," Lopez said. "I want somebody else, that would be nice, but I gotta be happy and whole on my own first. I gotta heal from things."
