Paul Pierce might be a Los Angeles Clipper next season, but he'll always be a Boston Celtic in the eyes of Los Angeles Lakers fans. For years, Pierce personified the Lakers-Celtics rivalry, and now he personifies the city's "other" team in the minds of many Lakers fans like myself.
So if he thought he could just mosey on out to the pitcher's mound at Dodgers Stadium and throw a pitch without hearing it from the crowd, he was wrong.
