Paul Ryan's Going To Hate Seth Meyers' Response To His Email

“And unlike Republicans and their health care bill, we actually read the whole email."

Seth Meyers is not buying House Speaker Paul Ryan’s (R-Wis.) lip service.

The congressman’s office wrote to “Late Night” in response to a segment that aired last week. During the piece, Meyers called out Ryan for displaying an astonishing amount of hypocrisy about passing the GOP health care bill.

“Everything that Paul Ryan claimed to hate about the Obamacare process in 2009, he’s doing now,” Meyers said after playing a series of clips showing Ryan criticizing President Barack Obama and the passage of the Affordable Care Act.

The congressman’s office emailed “Late Night” to take issue with the segment.

“And unlike Republicans and their health care bill, we actually read the whole email,” Meyers said.

Meyers said he “genuinely appreciated” the response, would love to have Ryan on the show, but did not agree with the letter. So he went point by point in showing why.
