Paul Williams Mid-Century Home for $3.49 Million

PHOTOS: Untouched Paul Williams Mid-Century For $3.49 Million

For the first time in fifty-two years, this untouched Paul Williams home is on the market for $3.49 million. Built in 1958, the 3,793 square foot residence is located one half mile north of the Greystone Mansion in the famous Trousdale Estates. The property features a stone fireplace, wet bar, "oriental style grill work" within the living room, four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a service porch, and an open floor plan. It also boasts unobstructed views of the lush hillside, the city, and the coast.

In 1923, the now famous Paul Williams was the first African-American architect to be recognized by the American Institute of Architects (AIA). He designed many homes in the Los Angeles area, including residences for Frank Sinatra and Lucille Ball, as well the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Los Angeles International Airport.
