'Pawn Stars': Rick Scores Civil War Revolver

Haggling for rare historical artifacts can be a tricky game to play. On the latest "Pawn Stars" (Mon., 10 p.m. EST on History), a rare Civil War revolver walked in the door, immediately catching the eye of store co-owner Rick Harrison. But the man started at $20,000 before stalling out at $12K, while Rick said he couldn't go any higher than ten grand.

"All right, $10,000," Rick said. "That's an open offer." And with that, the man took his gun and left. But it wasn't the last Rick would see of the gun, as he suspected. He knew his offer was a good one. It sometimes just takes a little convincing and time to sink in when someone is anticipating more.

When the guy came back in and said that something had told him to just take Rick's offer, Rick saw right through him. "So you brought it to the gun show and no one offered you more than ten grand," he said.

"That's what really happened," the guy laughed. But a man of his word, Rick honored the open offer and the guy walked out with ten grand.

Who knows what'll come in next on "Pawn Stars," every Monday at 10 p.m. EST on History.
