Andalusian actress Paz Vega will be starring in a Paulo Coelho biopic about the life of this great Brazilian writer titled, El Peregrino: La Mejor Historia De Paulo Coelho.
Vega will symbolically play the role of all the women who have inspired Paulo Coelho’s works. She will embody ‘Luisa,’ Coelho‘s companion who will travel el Camino de Santiago by his side and be his confidante to whom he will confess his most intimate secrets.
Coehlo‘s works have captivated millions of readers, so we are excited his story will be coming to the big screen next. There is no release date yet, but the project will be co-produced in Spain and Brazil. Let’s hope this will be a comeback vehicle for Paz, who appeared in the film Spanglish, alongside Adam Sandler, back in 2005.
