Pearland Oilers Trick Play: Texas High School Team Fools Trinity In State Championship Game (VIDEO)

High School Football Team Breaks Out Trick Play In State Championship Game

The Texas Class 5A Division 1 state title game in Cowboys Stadium on Saturday featured an unbelievable trick play. The Pearland offense pretended to be confused about the play call and didn't get set while the Euless Trinity defense stood there waiting for something to happen. The center snapped the ball and the wide receiver on the outside sprinted down the field. The trick didn't fool the cornerback, but the receiver was still able to run by him, catch the long pass and score a touchdown. The Oilers went on to upset Trinity 28-24 and were crowned state champs. Scroll down to watch the trick play.
