Mariah Carey's Mario Buatta-designed apartment in Manhattan features a luxurious dressing room that resembles an airy boutique. All of the songstress's outfits are on display and arranged by color and type, while an adjoining shoe room contains hundreds of her signature stilettos. (November 2001)
The closet at the Bedford, New York, home of Ralph Lauren is outfitted with mahogany millwork, giving the room the refined air of an English estate. The walls are covered in a dark-green baize and a leather-upholstered bench provides a convenient perch for pulling on one of the many pairs of riding boots that line the shelves. (November 2004)
