Peeps Movie Is Apparently A Thing Now, And So Is It's A Small World

These New Movie Ideas Prove Hollywood Is Out Of Ideas

Come on, Hollywood. According to Deadline.com, there will soon be a movie about Peeps -- yes, the marshmallow Easter candy -- and, separately, the Disney ride It's A Small World. Here's a guide to which ridiculous new movie idea you should see once the films are available in theaters.

Do you like Easter candy? Then see "Peeps."
Sure. Why not. Deadline.com reported that filmmaker Adam Rifkin has optioned film and TV rights to Peeps candy. Rifkin and his partners plan to create an animated film à la "The Lego Movie." The pitch describes a diorama contest in which Peeps are the main attraction. But the night before the judging, one lone Peep gets lost and has to find his way back to his original diorama before the contest begins. This sounds like a high school stoner's new favorite movie.

Do you like Disney World? Then see "It's A Small World."
If you were the only person in your family not terrified by the legendary Disney ride, this is going to be great. News that Jon Turteltaub will direct a film based on It's A Small World broke on the ride's 50th anniversary. According to Deadline.com, the film will also take a cue from "The Lego Movie" and has signed on Dan Lin to be one of the producers. The feature might take a long time to come together, but the report noted that the powers that be hope for it to become a franchise.

Glad we could clear that up for you.
