Asked at a press conference Tuesday about the president's promise to let C-SPAN film negotiations between the Senate and the House, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) took a light jab at Obama.
"Really? There are a number of things he was for on the campaign trail," Pelosi responded, laughing.

But Pelosi also defended the health care negotiations, saying, "There has never been a more open process for any legislation in anyone who serves here's experience."
C-SPAN has requested full access to the meetings. But Democrats have chosen to do most of the negotiating behind closed doors with White House officials, in order to avoid Republican delays.
"The president's number-one priority is getting the differences worked out, getting a bill through the House and the Senate," Press Secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters.
