The 'Perfect' Weekend Has Been Revealed...By A Survey (INFOGRAPHIC)

What 43% Of People Will Do This Weekend

The '80s may have failed in its attempt at decor, but it did bring us Loverboy and their spot-on summation of everybody's two favorite days of the week -- the weekend.

It turns out that the boy band's observation holds true today (unlike those pouffy couches and chintz curtains -- thank goodness). According to a survey of some 1,000 adults released by Scripps Networks Interactive this week, Americans are most looking forward to weekend downtime at home this fall.

And no that doesn't mean diving into that ongoing list of weekend DIYs. In fact, 43 percent of those surveyed consider an ideal weekend to be quiet time at home, trying a new recipe, curling up with a good book or relaxing in front of the TV, while only 8 percent consider themselves weekend warriors ready to tackle a fix-it project.

Take a look at what else Scripps' inaugural “Great American Country Lifestyle Report” revealed in the infographic below and tell us, what's your favorite activity this time of year?
