Performa artist Molly Lowe, whose experimental play takes place tonight and tomorrow, imagines a culture where humans have devolved into a tangle of fingers. "I'm interested in introverted behavior being this big spectacle. Everybody walking around New York is so fascinated by what is going on in the palm of their hand. Imagining that together, all of these little gestures do add up to something harmonious," she said.
On why Performa, "I am able to go completely balls to the wall," she said. Watch as I talk to her about her inspiration behind the play, the best career advice she's been given, and her thoughts on technology and art.
And If you can make time to go see Molly's Hands Off, I recommend you do!
