Peter Dinklage stopped by "The Late Show" and confessed to David Letterman that he's never actually read "Game of Thrones" or any of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" books on which the hit HBO series, "Game Of Thrones," is based.
Dinklage plays the show's antihero (depending on who you root for, all the characters are basically antiheroes), Tyrion Lannister who has managed to stay alive through the first five books.
"George Martin, our author, is probably going to kill my character soon because I mention that," he told Letterman on Wednesday, March 26. "I started to read it and I got confused," he admitted.
Dinklage also said that in one panel discussion, he had to say he hadn't read the series in front of Martin. It did not go well at all. Watch the whole interview above.
"Game Of Thrones" Season 4 premieres April 6 on HBO.
