Peyton Manning Touchdown: Broncos' QB Tosses 400th Career TD In Denver Debut (VIDEO)

WATCH: Peyton Throws Historic 1st TD In Denver

Peyton Manning may still look strange in those orange Denver Broncos uniforms but he has shown that he can still sling it like he could during his years with the Indianapolis Colts. While it remains to be seen how he'll handle the wear and tear of an NFL season, Manning's skills look intact as he returned from those neck surgeries.

With the Broncos trailing the Steelers, 13-7, in the third quarter on Sunday night, Manning hooked up with wide receiver Demaryius Thomas for a 71-yard touchdown. A milestone touchdown in more ways than one, the score wasn't just Manning's first TD with the Broncos but was also the 400th of his accomplished career.

Manning ranks third on the NFL's all-time touchdown passes list, trailing Dan Marino (420) and Brett Favre (508). Sitting several spots lower on that list is the popular quarterback that Manning replaced in Denver: Tim Tebow.

Manning's first touchdown in Denver had a lot in common with Tebow's last scoring toss at Mile High. Both scoring passes went to Thomas, who racked up substantial yards after the catch. Both came against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Manning's came in his Broncos debut while Tebow's came in that thrilling overtime playoff game last season. Manning would add another touchdown pass as the Broncos defeated the Steelers 31-19.
