About two years ago, I volunteered at one of the most inspiring conferences I have attended in my career as a photographer. Collaborations for Cause, held in Seattle and put on by Blue Earth Alliance, really blew my mind and inspired me to push myself as a documentary photographer. Little did I know, I would be on the board of Blue Earth two years later and would be organizing the 2017 conference to be held here in Seattle on May 5-6. We’ve got a stellar lineup and it’s unbelievable that we’re able to get all of these folks together for two days this spring. Put it on your calendar! You won’t regret it.
Speakers include: Art Wolfe, Annie Griffiths, Mary Virginia Swanson, Poulomi Basu, Anastasia Taylor-Lind, Mustafah Abdulaziz, Bryan Monroe, Layda Negrete, Roberto Hernandez, David Moskowitz, Jason Houston, Melissa Ryan, Helen Cherullo, and more to be announced soon.
In case you’re wondering, “What the heck is Blue Earth Alliance?” ...
