You Won't Stop Smiling At These Photos Of Happy, Grinning Seniors

You won’t be able to stop grinning at the truly infectious smiles of these perky senior citizens. Indeed, a smile really is worth a million words in a touching photo series from two Russian photographers.

Ilya Nodia and Irina Muravyova were asked by the Senior Group, a company which owns several senior care facilities around Moscow, to photograph some of their residents.

The photographers visited several locations to put the spotlight on seniors, aged 75 to 95, to capture their beautiful smiles.

“A wonderful experience and a great atmosphere created by the smiles that never grow old,” the photographers wrote.

While many younger people are worried that grinning might give them laugh lines and wrinkles, these gleeful seniors were eager to be in front of the camera.

“It was cool for them,” Nodia told The Huffington Post in an email. “Like a little celebration of their life.”

And if their laugh lines are any indication of a life well-lived, we’d say these folks have had it pretty good.

Just goes to show, smiling never gets old.
