Piers Morgan Renews Old Feud

Piers Morgan banned Madonna from his American and British shows on Tuesday after initiating a Twitter feud with her.

The pop star joined Twitter on Sunday, and Morgan marked the occasion tweeting, "Welcome to Twitter. You're still banned from my show. Love Piers x."

Her manager Guy Oseary tweeted back, "Really?" with a letter from the show's producer asking Madonna to be a guest on the British version of his talk show.

Morgan responded, "Madonna has only been banned from my CNN show, not my UK show, which sent that invite. But I'm now banning her from that too."

TMZ reported that sources close to Madonna said, "she doesn't even know who he is."

He hit back at that claim on Wednesday, tweeting:

The CNN host initiated his feud with Madonna in January 2011 when he publicly announced that she was banned from his CNN show. He said that she had been "an irritant in his life for 20 years," and that she would only be allowed on if she apologized on-air.
