Piers Morgan echoed the sentiment of soccer fans everywhere at the conclusion of the Super Bowl on Sunday.
The Baltimore Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 in an emotional victory at the Superdome. Morgan was rooting for the 49ers and live tweeting the game. He wasn't buying it, however, when the Ravens were declared "world champions" for winning the Super Bowl. The CNN host tweeted:
"CNN's Piers Morgan is apparently trying to get another petition started to have him deported," Newsbusters' Noel Sheppard joked. Gun advocates petitioned the White House to deport Morgan after the CNN host repeatedly called for tougher gun control in the wake of the Newtown shooting. The petition, started in December, surpassed 109,000 signatures and elicited a response from the White House, which said that it would not be deporting Morgan.
