Pop star Pink hit Chicago Tuesday night for a sold-out show at United Center, playing to a packed house of fans who also just happened to be celebrating the news that, earlier in the day, the Illinois legislature took a pivotal step toward the state becoming the 15th state to legalize same-sex marriage.
Photographer-blogger Joshua Mellin was on hand for the show and said Pink made a point to say she supports the right of everyone to get divorced and congratulated the state, a comment that received a big response.

The United Center show is the first of two shows Pink is playing in the Windy City area this month. She returns to the Allstate Arena in Rosemont on Nov. 20.
