There's been another disturbing animal attack in Northern Virginia. Police are looking for help finding the person who stabbed a young dog in the neck.

The Fairfax County Police Department gave the details of the crime in a media report:

Animal Control officers were called to pick up a dog on Friday, June 29 in the 3500 block of Rolling Hills Avenue at approximately 9 a.m. Cane, a 15-month-old white Pit Bull, was found with injuries to the left side of his neck. A veterinarian determined the injuries were consistent with a stab wound.
