Pizza Receipt Shows Intense Vancouver Hockey Fan Canceled Pick-Up Because Game Was Tied (PHOTO)

LOOK: Customer Cancels Pizza Pick Up For Hilarious Reason

The latest hilarious receipt to go viral comes to The Huffington Post courtesy of Vancouver's rabid hockey fans (and Reddit.)

A picture of the receipt, posted to the r/funny subreddit Saturday by BrandiBean, apparently shows what happens in Canada when a hockey game gets too close to call.

The receipt, originally for one large pizza for pick-up with extra chicken, was cancelled out and turned into a delivery because "canucks have tied game, [customer] cannot leave house to pickup."

While hockey is Canada's national sport, Vancouver Canucks fans are known for being particularly intense. In 2011, a group of Canucks fans drove hundreds of miles to San Jose for Game Four of the Western Conference Finals. As retold by Deadspin, the buddies watched the game and drank a few too many shots of tequila with the team's owner.

The team has also sold out more than 408 consecutive games, the longest current sellout streak in the National Hockey League, according to Bleacher Report.

The fan that ordered this particular large pizza, however, was ultimately not rewarded for his devotion to the game. The Canucks lost Game 2 of their Western Conference quarter-final with the San Jose Sharks in a heart-breaking, 3-2 overtime loss. The two teams face-off again on Sunday, with the Sharks leading the best-of-seven series 2-0.

(No word on whether the delivery man was rewarded with a good tip.)
