The prevailing thought is that the loo has to be one of the dirtiest places in the house, for obvious reasons. (No one's going into the bathroom to admire the artwork, if you catch our drift.) But out of everything you come in contact with on a regularly basis, your toilet surprisingly isn't the germiest. "It's one of the cleanest things you'll run across in terms of micro-organisms," Dr. Chuck Gerba, professor of microbiology at the University of Arizona, told the BBC. "It's our gold standard - there are not many things cleaner than a toilet seat when it comes to germs." So what is dirtier?
