Pole Dancing Mom Beautifully Incorporates Baby In Routine

Pole Dancing Mom Beautifully Incorporates Baby In Routine

Moms are always multitasking, but Ashley Wright takes it to the next level.

"What if I told you I can pole dance and babywear at the same dang time?!" Wright wrote on her blog. "Well I can!"

Wright proved it by posting video in which she shows off her considerable dance skills to the Disney song "Circle of Life" while her toddler daughter, Shannon, is wrapped against her back.

On her blog, Ms. Wright's Way, Wright calls herself a "badass breastfeeding, babywearing, attachment parenting, pole dancing, yogi mama." She explained that since viewers gobbled up previous videos that included Shannon playing and watching "as I dance away to the music in our hearts and the freedom of our spirit," she wanted to film "another beautiful experience together."

Wright told BabyCenter that to protect Shannon's neck during the performance, she wrapped the little girl's head so it would remain stable. She said Shannon watched educational videos on a cell phone as she danced.

“[I]n the video that I posted she is quietly back there watching the ABCs!” Wright said.

Wright wrote on her blog that she dances for love: "The love I have for self, the love for my daughter, the love we have for each other and the love we have for you. This is who I am. And this is why I dance. And most certainly why I dance with my daughter."

We're impressed.
