'Political Animals': Ellen Burstyn's Grandma Margaret Gets High With Future Granddaughter-In-Law (VIDEO)

'Political Animals': Grandma Margaret Gets High

While the tension was rising for some members of the Hammond-Barrish family, there was a much lighter mood back at the house between Anne and her delightfully candid future grandmother-in-law, (Ellen Burstyn)on "Political Animals" (Sun., 10 p.m. ET on USA).

With TJ hopefully heading home soon, Margaret and Anne agreed to rid the house of all alcohol and any other substances he might abuse. Margaret was apparently an old pro with drugs in her day, so she knew full well TJ would have stashes hidden throughout the house, and she was right.

And when they found one stash of marijuana, Margaret suggested they smoke it. In doing so, the two women perhaps came a little closer, and Anne certainly loosened up a bit. Not enough to admit to her bulimia when Margaret called her out on it, but enough to talk some smack about her future mother-in-law.

But that future wound up in jeopardy, when her fiance joined the "Mile High Club" with the pesky reporter who's made a career out of exposing scandals in their family. Now Susan is part of the scandal, but to what end?

Only one more episode to find out, as next Sunday at 10 p.m. ET brings the finale of the "Political Animals" mini-series on USA.
