By now most people ignore the old-school fashion rule of not wearing white after Labor Day. Even Michael Kors has remarked on how "glamorous" white after Labor Day is.
The city of Dallas is becoming quite known for glamour. And on the evening of September 17th over 1,600 guests, elegantly clad in head-to-toe white, gathered together to celebrate Dallas' inaugural Dîner en Blanc. Not only were guest bravely breaking this out-of-date fashion rule, they accessorized their outfits with white masks, white hats and white wigs. For a first-time event of this nature in the city, guests brought out their best white attire to blend in, while standing out.
