When HuffPost LatinoVoices launched last month, Arianna Huffington said, "This is truly a Latino moment."
Today, The White House gave us further evidence of that, announcing the first-ever live online roundtable for Hispanic audiences.
We consider it our mission at AOL Latino and HuffPost LatinoVoices to provide a platform for vital conversations about this "Latino moment" and what it all means for the future of the U.S. and its fast-growing Latino population.
In keeping with this, I am very proud to announce that AOL Latino and HuffPost LatinoVoices, along with MSN Latino and Yahoo!, have been tapped by the White House to participate in a special OPEN FOR QUESTIONS WITH PRESIDENT OBAMA webcast on Wednesday, September 28th, and which will be streamed live in its entirety.
Here's how it's going to work:
Between now and September 28th, you may submit your questions for President Obama via multiple methods, and in Spanish or English.

AOL Latino and HuffPost LatinoVoices editors will select the most representative questions from the many received, and from across the many issues of interest to Hispanics, and bring those to the White House for the September 28 roundtable.

Then, armed with the selected questions, Senior News Editor Gabriel Lerner will sit down with the President in the White House Map Room and ask away.

You'll be able to watch the whole thing live, in either English or Spanish, on HuffPost LatinoVoices or AOL Latino.

El día del lanzamiento de HuffPost LatinoVoices el mes pasado, dijo Arianna Huffington: "Este es un momento auténticamente latino". El día de hoy La Casa Blanca nos ha suministrado una nueva evidencia de ello, al anunciar la primera mesa redonda en línea y en vivo, para la audiencia hispana.
En AOL Latino y HuffPost LatinoVoices como nuestro deber proporcionar una plataforma para el intercambio de opiniones sobre los temas de más importancia relativos a este "momento latino" y lo que implica para el futuro de Estados Unidos y su creciente población hispana. Por eso, me enorgullece anunciar que AOL Latino y HuffPost LatinoVoices, conjuntamente con MSN Latino y Yahoo!, fueron seleccionados por la Casa Blanca para participar conjuntamente en EL PRESIDENTE OBAMA RESPONDE, un programa de preguntas y respuestas con el Presidente Obama, abierto a las preguntas del público, el miércoles 28 de septiembre.
