Power of Prayer in Practice - Help Haiti Blog Challenge

While money is a needed commodity to get things done in Haiti, my concerns have been for the people and the circumstances that are beyond reach of organized help. These people need miracles.

The Help Haiti Blog Challenge was kickstarted by Kelly Diels of the Cleavage website, inspired by a twitter from Danielle La Porte of the White Hot Truth, where she offered to "donate a full FireStarter Session fee ($300) to Haiti causes to 1st person who books in and pays today...Please RT."

Kelly saw this as an opportunity for bloggers to get involved by offering their goods and services as a way to support the Haiti Relief Efforts.

I sat for a long while in thought, to discover an authentic offering and this is my response:

While money is a needed commodity in bringing aid to the Haiti, my concerns have been for the people and the circumstances that are beyond reach of organized help. These people need miracles.

For each person who retweets this article, and for each word that is posted in the comments field below, I will sit in prayer for one minute, for the people of Haiti, for their highest good. I also encourage you, your families, church and prayer groups to join me in this challenge.

If you need a little guidance on how to pray, this is how I do it.

I peruse media visuals and stories of problem area and circumstances, and before I allow myself to fall into the sadness and heartbreaking emotional feelings that I usually associate with these stories, I work to neutralize my emotions and then mentally send vibes of hope, relief and only the good. I also mentally turn the situation and circumstance over to a higher spiritual power, and put my trust in that.

I also read the good news stories, to remind me that the prayers are working.

I would love to hear how you are joining in with the prayers, post a comment here, or email me at tamsin@tamsinrothschild.com
