Power Outage Map, New York City: Thousands Still Have No Power After Hurricane Sandy (INFOGRAPHIC)

Thousands Of New Yorkers Still In The Dark

Four days after Hurricane Sandy made landfall on Monday evening, 425,000 New Yorkers are still without power as of 2 p.m. Friday afternoon, according to ConEd.

As we write, reports are coming in that ConEd, New York's power provider, is beginning to flip the lights back on in Manhattan. The power utility's website estimates the island's electricity will be restored by midnight on Friday night. It also says the powerless customers in the rest of the boroughs will be getting electricity on Nov. 11.

Check out the map below to see where ConEd customers are still sitting in the dark. For the latest updates about Sandy's aftermath, visit our live blog (here).
