Prior to becoming Apple’s SVP for retail, her knowledge and skills also made it possible for one fashion house to rise again after being on the verge of bankruptcy. Now that’s truly an amazing leader!
Ursula Burns is another powerful woman to look up to in the tech world. She is the CEO and Chairman of Xerox, which is a Fortune 500 company. Not only did she break the gender barriers, but racial discrimination too, being the first and only African-American woman to handle the highest position in the company. With her guidance, the company’;s earnings reached over $18 billion dollars!
