Prada Handbags: Italian Brand Re-Issues Bags For Met Exhibit (PHOTOS)

The Bags You Wish You Bought 10 Years Ago Are Back!

A Prada bag is an icon in itself - if we aren't lucky enough to own one, we have all lusted after their various iterations over the years. While Miuccia's designs gorgeous bags today, the Italian brand's pieces from the past remain highly sought after.

To honor the upcoming exhibit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, "Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations," Prada has re-released special bags from 1991-2005. Made out of silk, leather and other ultra-luxe materials, they are totally gorgeous (and dangerous eye-candy!). Just looking at them brings me back a decade... or two.

Take a peek in our gallery and let us know which bag is your favorite. We're partial to the canvas/leather tote from 2003!
