Prankster Wife Engraved Husband's Wedding Ring With This Cheeky Message

All signs point to an awesome marriage ahead.

Dan and Amanda Tallman know the key to a happy marriage: sharing a sense of humor.

When the Lake Orion, Michigan couple married five years ago, Amanda surprised her husband with this tongue-in-cheek wedding band inscription:

A friend of the couple posted a picture of the engraving to Reddit on Tuesday, where it has since been viewed more than 840,000 times.

“She’s a prankster. She’s got a great sense of humor,” Dan told ABC News of his wife. “Some people are commenting that she must be insecure or something, but it’s quite the opposite. People tell us we have the best marriage they’ve ever seen.”

Years ago, when the pair ordered their rings, Amanda slid a note to the jeweler with the special request. Dan didn't think much of it at the time.

"When the rings came in, I tried it on and noticed [the engraving] when I took it off," he told The Huffington Post. "I just laughed along with everyone else in the store."

"We had three babies in less than three years. Our marriage is strong and it's because we keep it fun and humorous," Dan said.

Dan called the Internet's response to the photo "crazy" -- especially because he didn't know that his friend was planning to share it online.

"I really didn't know what Reddit was prior to him posting it," he said. "Jordan took a picture of it a year ago and decided to put it online the other night. We all laughed and said that if it were ever to go viral, it would be because of Jordan."
