Priciest Cities For Renting Three-Bedroom Home In 2012: Bankrate

Miami's housing sector may now be moving at a pre-recession pace, but living in South Florida has gotten no less expensive for families requiring a three-bedroom single family home.

North Miami Beach, a suburban city in northeast Miami-Dade County, ranks first in the "Top 10 Most Expensive Rental Markets," according to Bankrate.

The median rent for a three-bedroom home in North Miami Beach out prices those in New York and even San Francisco with a price tag of $4,489. The number and ranking is based on a Rent Range study of rental data nationwide.

Not surprisingly, nearby Miami Beach also appears on the list at number six, with a median rent of $3,421.
