Prince released his new protest song about Freddie Gray and Baltimore to the world on Saturday.

The track, simply titled "Baltimore," features upbeat, Prince-funky instrumentals combined with direct lyrics that deal unflinchingly with recent current events. A sample: "Does anybody hear us pray for Michael Brown and Freddie Gray?"

The release of "Baltimore" comes a day ahead of the legendary artist's performance at Sunday's Rally 4 Peace benefit concert in Baltimore, which will stream on Tidal, Jay-Z's new streaming music service.
