Prince William & Kate Step Out To Irish Guards Medal Ceremony (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge participated in their first joint military ceremony on Saturday, as part of the UK's third Armed Forces Day.

The royal newlyweds visited the Victoria Barracks in Windsor, west of London, to attend a medal parade for the 1st Battalion Irish Guards Regimen. Prince William is a colonel of the Irish Guards.

For the occasion, the former-Kate Middleton went military chic, picking a navy, double-breasted McQueen coat (with her shamrock pin), beret-like fascinator, matching pumps and a clutch.
