Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have revealed the name of their first child together.
The couple announced Friday, via the royal family’s Twitter account and Mapelli Mozzi’s Instagram account, that they will name their baby girl Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi.
Beatrice and her property developer husband welcomed their daughter on Sept. 18 at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London. Mapelli Mozzi also has a son, Christopher Woolf, from a previous relationship.
“The couple have said, ‘We are all doing well and Wolfie is the best big brother to Sienna,’” read the tweet from the royal family’s account on Friday, alongside a picture of Sienna’s footprints.
Mapelli Mozzi included the same photo of his daughter’s footprints with a heartfelt caption dedicated to his family.
“Our life together has just begun, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things that await us,” the developer wrote.
“Feeling so much love and gratitude for my amazing wife, baby Sienna and Wolfie. These are the days I never want to forget,” he added. “This week, a friend said to me the sweetest saying….that with every child you grow a whole new heart.”
In a statement announcing Sienna’s birth, Buckingham Palace said that “the new baby’s grandparents and great-grandparents have all been informed and are delighted with the news.”
“Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well, and the couple are looking forward to introducing their daughter to her big brother Christopher Woolf,” the statement read.
“To my new niece, I love you already and think you’re just awesome from the photos,” Eugenie wrote, alongside a photo she posted of Beatrice and Mapelli Mozzi. “We’re going to have so much fun together. Love, your Auntie Euge.”
Beatrice and Mapelli Mozzi reportedly began dating in 2018 and announced their engagement in September 2019.
“We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together,” the two said in a statement at the time. “We share so many similar interests and values, and we know that this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness.”
The ceremony included both the queen and Prince Philip, who died earlier this year. Though Beatrice’s father, Andrew, attended the ceremony, he was not present in any of the photos shared on royal family social media accounts.
