Gold Bikini From 'Return Of The Jedi' Goes For Nearly $100,000 At Auction

One lucky bidder got to take home the ultimate "Star Wars" memorabilia from a three-day "Profiles of History" auction.

CNN reports that a fan paid $96,000 for the gold "Slave Leia" bikini Carrie Fisher wore as Princess Leia in 1983's "Return of the Jedi." Bidding for the famous "Star Wars" outfit started at $80,000. 

According to the "Profiles of History" site, the outfit also included the chain and collar the Princess was forced to wear as a slave to Jabba the Hut, as well as a letter of authenticity from the costume maker.

Fisher is set to reprise her role as Princess Leia in the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens," out Dec. 18.
