With news of the "historic" winter storm Juno blasting the Northeast, schools all across New England canceled Tuesday classes. But no school announced its snow day with quite the flair of Providence, Rhode Island's Moses Brown.
On Monday, Moses Brown's Head of School Matt Glendinning released "School Is Closed" -- a "Let It Go" parody that tells students at the small Quaker school to stay home on the day of the blizzard.
"The snow glows white on Route 95, not a tire track to be seen," he sings. "We could make you come to school, but that would just be mean.”
We can't help but wonder if Glendinning drew inspiration from traffic reporter Bob Herzog's "Just Don't Go." Or perhaps, the "Frozen" anthem simply lends itself too perfectly to winter-related announcements.
