'Private Lives': Kim Cattrall Stars In Comedy Of Manners On Broadway (VIDEO)

Highlights From Kim Cattrall's Comedy Of Manners On Broadway

In a role that makes you wonder what Samantha would say, Kim Cattrall takes to the stage to play a woman hopelessly in love with her ex-husband. Noel Coward's "Private Lives" follows divorced couple Amanda (Cattrall) and Elyot (Paul Gross), both remarried, who meet again on adjoining hotel balconies while honeymooning with their new spouses. Sounds like a Cary Grant/Irene Dunne comedy in the making, except here the couple torture one another more viciously than good-naturedly. Still, the sparks are there for these hapless pair, and their sharp tongues are both the fuel and downfall of their relationship. After runs in London and Toronto, "Private Lives" will begin performances in New York on Nov. 6 at the Music Box Theatre.
