When it comes to the future of James Bond movies, these actresses would like the famous spy character shaken and stirred.
Asked by James Corden about rumors that they might play Bond girls, Priyanka Chopra of “Baywatch” and Kaya Scodelario of the newest “Pirates of the Caribbean” installment had some awesome answers on Wednesday’s “Late Late Show.”
“I’d much rather be the one that finally gets to kill Bond and doesn’t have to sleep with him,” Scodelario said.
Chopra went with one better: “I’d always said I’d prefer to play Bond,” the “Quantico” star said. (”And not ‘Jane,’” she told Refinery 29 last year.)
“I hope in my lifetime I get to see such iconic parts be played by women ... even if it’s not me,” she added.
The conversation turned to the recent passing of former “Bond” star Roger Moore, who incidentally wasn’t keen on a woman playing 007.
But times change.
