This Creative PSA To Help The Homeless Will Hit Close To Home

WATCH: Now Here's One PSA That Will Hit Close To Home

A real estate agent pitches a "rustic" and "exposed brick" property to house hunters, but there's a catch in this clever PSA: The living space is actually an outdoor alley.

Many of the buzz terms that agents use to move real estate take on a different meaning in a donation plea for Canada's Project Winter Survival, an organization that helps the homeless and the less fortunate. A $25 contribution buys a "survival kit," which includes cold weather necessities such as gloves, socks, scarves, sleeping bags and snacks, according to the project's website.

Some homeless advocacy initiatives have used creative means to raise awareness for the plight of the indigent during the cold season. In one instance, European news stations had homeless people give the weather report to remind viewers of the harsh conditions they endure.
