Queen Noor's Color-Block '80s Style (PHOTO)

Queen Noor Was Majestic In Color-Block Style

A veteran of Vanity Fair's Best-Dressed List International Hall Of Fame, Queen Noor of Jordan perfectly married '80s style and color blocking in this 1984 photo.

Her primary-hued blazer was from Yves Saint Laurent's Mondrian collection, where the designer paid tribute to abstractionist artist Piet Mondrian. Queen Rania's mother-in-law topped her asymmetrical look with large pearl button earrings, oversized sunglasses, and a simple white scarf -- proof that in the '80s, more was more. This photo was snapped awaiting the arrival of Queen Elizabeth II -- can you imagine a more appropriate ensemble for greeting a fellow HM?
