Man Survives Suicidal Leap In Front Of Times Square Subway

Horrified witnesses said the man stood on the tracks in front of the oncoming Queens-bound R train about 8:45 p.m. yelling for onlookers to call his wife.

"He began then to shout out his wife's telephone number," said a shaken witness, who didn't give her name. "He said, 'Call my wife, call my wife, I'm going to die.'"
