WHO: Senior Foreign Policy Advisor Susan Rice and Richard Clarke
WHAT: Press Conference Call to discuss comments made by Senator McCain, President Bush's biggest supporter of the Iraq War, regarding his own judgment on the war, and his continued efforts to question Senator Obama's patriotism.
WHEN: TODAY, Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 3:30 PM ET.

SUMMARY
Obama advisers Susan Rice and Richard Clark used McCain's record on Iraq to question the Arizona Senator's judgment (and his most recent attacks on Obama's national security credentials). Rice described McCain as "itching for war with Iran and Syria, like Rumsfeld and Cheney and the most radical of the neoconservatives," with a "reflexive approach to national security that's even worse than the excess of George Bush." Similarly, Richard Clark said McCain "was part of the group that was pushing the Bush administration hard to go to Iraq even though Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11...he's consistently been quick draw McCain here, on every issue his first instinct is to rattle sabers and look for a military solution."
