Quinn and Mike Risdall's Gorgeous Home, Featured In HGTV Magazine, Was Almost Completely Designed Online (PHOTOS)

Welcome to 2013, folks.

We clearly believe that great design inspiration can be found on the internet. But in case you weren't totally convinced, just take a look at Quinn and Mike Risdall's gorgeous home featured in HGTV magazine's September issue.

The couple's once bare, dated and dingy Minnesota house was turned into a vibrant and sophisticated space, all thanks to a thing called e-design. You see, when Quinn fell in love with designer Jamie Meares' blog, "I Suwannee," she called up Meares and asked her work her magic. Unfortunately, the decorator lives in North Carolina and only saw the house in person once. So, except for that one visit, everything else was practically done over the phone, through email and via text.

And once you see the end-result, it's clear that this new way to design can be quite effective. Just look at that kitchen! Click through our slideshow to see photos, and be sure to head over to HGTV magazine for more information.
