R. Kelly's Former Chicago Home On The Market For $3.89 Million (PHOTOS)

While the history of R. Kelly's former Chicago home has been argued in court, the revamped Lake View home--which was ironically once a church--is still pretty infamous. Kelly sold the home in 2002, and as of Monday, it goes on the market yet again for $3.89 million.

During the R&B star's child porn trial, prosecutors argued that the home at 1010 W. George was where Kelly filmed himself having sex with and urinating on an underage girl, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Kelly was ultimately cleared of child porn charges after the jury decided they could not determine the actual identities of the people on the tape. (Fun Fact: Kelly had the same lawyer as former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich now has.)

After Kelly left the home, it was unoccupied for several years before current owner Ilene Greenblatt purchased it for $1 million, the Sun-Times reports. She allegedly bought it to bought the impress her nephew and hadn't heard of the music star.

Extensively renovated in the past 18 months, the place is now a four-bedroom home with a marble-clad fireplace in the living room, a sleek kitchen, a 1,500-square-foot rooftop terrace with an outdoor kitchen, and an elevator.

In a listing for the residence, Ed Jelinek and Shawn Daly of Coldwell Banker say the home is "truly a unique residence that has been created for the person who simply lives larger than most others."

Despite the changes made to the home, Kelly's 1,600 gallon shark tank remains--now filled with tamer fish. Also, Kelly's Looney Toons-themed bar was listed on Craigslist this week for $1,000 (Check out photos of the bar below.)

Jelinek told HuffPost Chicago that more photos of the home will be available Monday, but check out these ones for now:
