Raccoon Mom Comes Back For Babies (VIDEO)(UPDATED)

INCREDIBLY Cute Raccoon Video

Want to see a video of a raccoon mom reuniting with her teeny babies in the D.C. suburbs? You're in luck!

Raccoons get a bad rap. Rabid raccoons who bite homeowners relaxing on their decks don't help.

(An earlier version of this story referenced a rabid raccoon biting a woman's foot at a Jimmy Buffett-inspired restaurant. As a commenter correctly pointed out, that animal was in fact a skunk. Skunks could also use a rehabilitative video.)

Back to raccoons: This video could do something good for their reputations. At the very least it makes one raccoon look like a terrific mother.

Without giving too much away, we'll just say it's a video in which baby raccoons -- trapped in a house in Arlington, Va., separated from their mother -- are rescued then hand fed.

Adorable and grainy surveillance video footage later shows mom, reunited with her brood, carrying the squirmy kits off by the scruffs of their necks.

And, in case you like raccoon stereotypes, there's also a scene of a ransacked basement.

The film was made by the people who removed the raccoons from the house -- Humane Wildlife Services, a group affiliated with the Humane Society of the United States. HWS also secured the house, to make sure the animals -- cute as they are -- don't get back in.

And how about this cute mom-and-baby rescue?
