Rachael Leigh Cook Pregnant: Actress And Husband Daniel Gillies Are Expecting Their First Child

Congratulations go out to Rachael Leigh Cook and Daniel Gillies, who are expecting their first child!

Us Weekly first reported that Cook, 33, and Gillies, 37 -- who tied the knot in August 2004 -- are pregnant, but did not specify how far along the "She's All That" actress is.

"I've been hiding my rapidly growing bump while shooting but this kiddo is vying for screen time," said Cook, who is nowadays shooting the second season of TNT's "Perception." "We clearly have a future actor on our hands."

Gillies, who plays Elijah Mikaelson on "The Vampire Diaries," said jokingly: "A lot of people are asking whether I'd prefer a boy or a girl. In truth, it doesn't matter to me -- I just can't wait to meet little Keanu Robocop."

But a baby is not the only thing Cook and Gillies are expecting: The film Gillies directed and produced, "Broken Kingdom," will air next week on Showtime (May 15).
